RE: seeing inside the icerise/ Smelte drikkevann på det frosne kontinentet

(EN ) Each winter snow falls creating new snow layer on the ice rise. We can see these layers below our feet with Denis's radar. To see the land below the ice rise we use Kenny's radar which has a longer antenna and lower frequency and thus is able to see deeper into the ice.

 

(NO) På vinteren dannes nye snølag på iskulen. Vi kan se lagene under oss med Denis’ radar. Til å se land under isen bruke vi Kenny’s radar som har en lengre antenne og bruker lavere frekvens og kan derfor se dypere ned i isen.
