Travelling across the Antarctic ice sheet is an adventure!
We had very good conditions on our way up north towards the shelf. The picture
was taken during a lunch break. Not much to see, other than snow. But the
infinity is rewardless. Flat snow covered glacier as far as your eyes can see.
And they can see far! The air out here is so clear that we can even spot the
mountains of Dronning Maud Land about 200 kilometers away.
