Ice shelf is not freely floating. The IceCon’s companion project BeWISE focuses on how small pinning point (partly grounded) works in the ice shelf system. After the safety reconnaissance, now the radar team is going to make the first radar profiling to see the ice thickness, bed topography, and snow-fall patterns.
