Today Fimbulisen loosened her grip on us slightly, for a short while, allowing us enough time to
dig everything out and prepare for our journey back to Troll.
But with the forecast for the next days we will have to see when we will be able to start the journey back.
Without uncertainty of the
outcome, the journey would
not be remembered
or worth telling about.
Without uncertainty of the
outcome, the journey would
not be remembered
or worth telling about.

"After such a long period with good weather one almost forgets where he is on the planet"
SvarSlettWhy "he"? Aren't there female team members along, too??
And how come your journey has an "uncertain outcome"? As a well-experienced Antarctic traveler I'd say with modern day logistics, technical equipment and transportation, it's pretty sure that you will come back safe and sound. Therefore I personally find this expression rather pathetic...
