Her på belgiske Princess Elisabeth Station (PES) forbereder vi oss til feltutsettingen. Stasjonen ble bygget under Det internasjonale polaråret 2007–2008, og er den første nullutslipp-stasjonen i Antarktis. Du kan se mange solpaneler på stasjonveggene. Det er også mange vindmøller, men de er utenfor synsvinkelen på bildet.

PES was constructed during the International Polar Year 2007–2008 and it is the first zero-emission station in Antarctica. You can see many solar panels on the station wall. There are also many wind mills (out of the sight).
